The All Star Swing

Choreography by Lisa de Ribère

The All Star Swing presents a lighthearted spoof on the world of athletics complete with pompoms and basketballs. The movements include "Cheerleaders", "Gymnastics", and "Basketball," featuring a cameo ball-handling exhibition by a local teen basketball player. There is also a male solo, "The All Star" (sort of the Big Man On Campus) and the flirtatious "Tennis Pas de Deux". This is all brought together by the lively final coda, making The All Star Swing a perfect closing ballet.
