Daniel Mallott

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Daniel received his early training from Inwood Performing Arts Company in Inwood, West Virginia under the direction of Denna Smith beginning at age nine. At age thirteen he joined the Inwood Dance Company, with which he attended several SERBA festivals. Daniel then attended St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire under the direction of Richard Rein. While at St. Paul’s, Daniel performed lead roles in such ballets as “Serenade,” “Valse Fantasie,” “Berceuse,” and “The Nutcracker.” Daniel graduated from St. Paul’s Magna Cum Laude with a Classical Honors degree. He then attended Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School’s graduate program during the 2000-2001 season. While in Pittsburgh, Daniel was privileged to perform with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in “Cleopatra,” “The Nutcracker,” and “The Mighty Casey.” Daniel joined the Louisville Ballet as an apprentice for the 2001-2002 season and performed many soloist roles in ballets such as “Lark Ascending,” “The Nutcracker,” “Lucy,” “Lilac Garden,” and “Cinderella.” Daniel is currently a Corps de Ballet member of the Louisville Ballet.
